Does your little one like making and writing cards for their favorite people? These DIY heart cards are a wonderful activity to showcase their creative talent as well as re-use old cardboard.

What you will need:
- Cardboard
- Potato clay (You could even use terracotta clay if you'd prefer!)
- Scissors
- Glue

How to:

Using the cardboard, cut out a solid square and heart frame.

Glue the heart frame to the solid square to act as a backer.

When the glue has dried, pinch and press small pieces of clay into the hollow of the heart.

Embellish with crystals and botanical elements.

Allow the clay to dry, this generally takes 24 hours.

Once dry, write a special message on the back for your loved one.
